DX52D+Z Steel is a European standard hot-dip galvanized steel grade designed mainly for excellent cold formability and deep drawing applications. It belongs to the DX series (EN 10346 standard) :
- DX=cold forming steel (flat steel for forming)
- 52=medium formability level (better than DX51D, lower than DX53/54 in strength but better shaping ability)
- D=drawing quality steel (good stamping/deep drawing performance)
- +Z=hot-dip pure zinc coating

The zinc layer provides good anti-corrosion protection and extends the service life of the steel plate.
